Design Lecture & Show
April 2007

Graphic design lecture and concert with Post Typography
The disconnect between the Graduate School of Design (GSD) and the Visual Environmental Studies (VES) program at Harvard has always been a missed opportunity. To encourage collaboration between the two, inflatables! invited the Baltimore-based graphic design duo, Post Typography, to give a lecture on representation. Coinciding with the GSD's own Open House and a VES exhibit, the event drew audiences from both schools. A post-lecture performance by Post Typography's band Double Dagger and locals Ho-ag and Squids was inside the inflatable. The reflective mylar insulated the crowd from the cold weather and acted as a beacon of activity from the street.
